Christmastime

Yesterday we took Jackson to pick out a Christmas Angel at the mall. We picked out a little boy who wants a remote control car, army toys or a t ball set. We figured these were all right up Jackson's alley & he could help us pick them out. This week we'll go pick up the toys at the store & return them to send to the little boy for Christmas. Hopefully Jackson will get the idea of helping other people:)
Later that night we enjoyed Christmas festivities out at Keirland Commons. There was Santa, Sleigh Rides, Mrs. Claus, and even snow!!!

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star

Last night after Jackson helped decorate the tree I climbed to the top of the ladder to add the finishing touch...our star tree topper. Jackson LOVED it. He pointed to the top of the tree & sang Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star about 3 times. It's too dark to see him, but you can hear his sweet little voice. Enjoy:)

Trimming the Tree

Yesterday while Jackson was napping I decided to haul in our huge Christmas Tree & attempt to put it all together without Michael. I actaully did it! It seriously took me almost 2 hours to get it in the house, out of the box, haul in the ladder, and figure out which level attaches next, and figuring out the lights took FOREVER! But...I did it. It was ready to be decorated when Jackson woke up & he helped me put on the ornaments. I'll wait until Michael gets home to attempt to get any of the heavy stuff down from the attic for the rest of our decorations, but at least our pretty tree is up.

Playdate at the Zoo

Yesterday I met my friends Tina & Tanya will all the kids at the zoo to enjoy an afternoon with the animals. Jackson had such a fun time with all the kids running around & seeing the animals. I think of ALL the animals he was most interested in the HUGE fish we saw:) He also was "talking" back to the big parrot for a while. It would squack & he'd squack back...this went on for quite a while:) We had a great afternoon at the zoo with perfect weather & great company!

Big Boy Bed!

Michael turned Jackson's bed into a daybed just the other day...and Jackson is doing great in it! No crib for our little boy...he's growing up:) (and loves his new big boy bed)

Sedona & Turning 30!!!

Tuesday night we headed out of town up to Sedona for the night to celebrate my
BIG 30th birthday. We stayed in a really nice suite for the night, went on a pink jeep tour, walked around downtown, played by the water at Oak Creek Caynon, had nice dinners and enjoyed the perfect weather. It was such a great birthday getting away for the night and having a fun time with my family. A great 30th birthday....

Happy Halloween!

Jackson had such a fun halloween this year! We carved our pumpkins during the day, and then had everyone come over to our house to see Jackson & our nieces off trick or treating. Our neighborhood has a big block party that we go to every year, so the kids had fun running around and playing outside the rest of the night. Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
