Bowling

Last night we took Jackson bowling for the 1st time!They had a little ramp that he could just push the ball off of, and of course we had the bumpers up (which is why I actually bowled over 100:)
Jackson had a fun time...he has a little bowling set at home that he always wants to play with, so he got the idea. Jackson bowled 1 game with us, and then Mike & I played 2 more while Jackson played with all the video games. We all had such a fun Saturday night at the bowling alley!

Up!

This morning we were lucky enough to get tickets from my Dad to go see the premiere of the movie "UP" at the Cine Capri in Scottsdale. It was an early morning getting there about 7am to start all the festivities. There was a buffet breakfast, t shirts, clowns, balloons, popcorn, raffle prizes, and a goodie bag after the movie. The movie was really cute and Jackson did a great job sitting on my lap for the ENTIRE movie. Such a fun Saturday morning! Thanks Dad!

Game night!

Tonight we took Jackson to Dave & Busters to play all the games. He and Mike had such a fun time playing basketball, racing cars, and just runnin' around. Jackson sure is his Daddy's boy...he loves those video games already:)

Great weather...Great time

Yesterday we went with Mike's sister Michelle & her husband Jim to Saguaro Lake along with some other friends for the afternoon. It was such a beautiful day to be cruising out on the lake and we had such a fun afternoon all hangin out together!

Summer rain

Tonight Jackson was so excited it was raining outside! I thought it would be warmer outside even though it was raining, but it was actually a little chilly! Fun night enjoying the nice weather & watching Jackson have a ball in the rain.

My sister and Jeff just got engaged this past weekend & we couldn't be happier for them!! :) Congrats!!

My little sister Michelle just graduated from ASU this past week. We all went to her graduation yesterday and then my parents had a party for her last night. Congratulations Michelle...we are so proud of you!

Tuesday morning fun

Last Tuesday my sister & I met my cousin at a splash pad park for the morning. It took Jackson & little while to get warmed up to, but then he loved splashing around in the water. We had a little picnic in the shady grass & had a great morning at the park.

Lucky

On this Mother's Day I think about how lucky I am to be a mom. I am lucky to have a wonderful family, husband who loves me more than anything, and lucky to have a healthy, happy, beautiful little boy. Happy Mother's Day...

Splash Pad Fun

Today I took Jackson & my nieces to San Tan Mall where they have a little water splash pad. It wasn't too hot, but nice enough for the kids to get wet & have lunch in the grassy area. These are the kind of places we will visit often this summer!

Brrr...Cold!

Even though today was almost 100 degrees outside I think it was still pretty chilly in the pool...although my niece,nephew & father in law disagree:) Papa & Mike had all the kids in the water today & everyone but Jackson was swimming like a fish! Jackson thought it was too cold, but had a blast running around while Mike squirted water at them. They had a ball.

Goats & Chickens

This morning we went over to Mason & Hannah's Grandma Carol's house to visit the 2 goats, chickens and baby chicks. The kids had a fun time showing Papa the eggs and collecting them inside the chicken coop. Jackson loved the little chicks that Grandma Carol let him pet. How fun that all this entertainment is only a 2 minute drive up the road!

Mason's special day

Today our nephew Mason was baptized and then had his 2nd birthday party this afternoon. A long day...but filled with tons of fun for all the celebrations!!

Saguaro Lake

Saturday we went back to the lake on the boat and had a blast! The kids loved hangin' on the boat, playing in the water & sand, and feeding the ducks at the slip on the way back. We had such a great time enjoying the fantastic weather on the lake, with great company on the awesome new boat!!
