Night on the lake

Tonight we took a little night trip to Saguaro Lake on Michelle & Jim's new boat!! Mike's dad is in town, so we decided to pick up some dinner and head out to the lake for a little night ride. The boat is fantastic & we can't wait to go again on Saturday with the sun shining!!
P.S. Happy 2nd Birthday to our nephew Mason today!

Night at the Drive-In

Last night the drive in movie theatre was having a special night with games, bounce houses, food, and free movies! We picked up some dinner, brought some blankets & pillows and headed to the drive-in. We saw Madagascar 2 and Jackson did great for the most part since his bedtime is around 8pm and the movie STARTED at 8pm:)
Can't beat a free movie at the drive-in for a night of fun together!

Easter Egg Hunt

Since Mike & I weren't here with Jackson on Easter we decided to have our own little Easter celebration! We gave him his baseball Easter basket & the Easter Bunny hid some eggs at the park. Jackson had a ball running around the park finding all his "baseball" eggs. I am so glad we were able to have a little more Easter fun on our own this week!

The best games of the year

Every year when the Cardinals are in town playing the Diamondbacks Mike HAS to be at each game. Monday night we decided to bring Jackson with us to enjoy the baseball game and he did awesome! He sat in his seat until the 5th inning, and then we took him up to the Sandlot kids area to play for the rest of the game. Mike was happy....his Cardinals won.

Happy Easter

While Mike & I planned our anniversary vacation to Las Vegas, we didn't even realize it was over Easter weekend until it was already booked. My sister & mom were nice enough to watch Jackson over the weekend while we were gone...and spoiled him rotten on Easter. My parents always host Easter Sunday with all the family, so Jackson was there with all the cousins for the easter egg hunt. I know he had a blast with everyone, but Mike & I were sad to miss it. I think we might do a little easter egg hunt of our own this week since we missed it, so more pictures of Easter to come:)

Vegas Baby

This past weekend Mike & I went to Vegas for our anniversary. We got there early Friday morning and got home late last night. We stayed at the Mirage which was really nice. We packed so much stuff into the 3 days that we were there: laying out at the pool, playing blackjack, a gondola ride at the Venetian, the wax museum, the dueling piano bar, dinner at TAO, the Playboy club, Moon club, Rain club & Ghostbar on top of the Palms hotel. We had such a fun filled weekend together to celebrate our 4 years together! Love you babe.

Happy Anniversary Babe

Happy Anniversary to us! Today marks the day we have been married for 4 years. I can hardly believe it. Michael made my day by handmaking a card that was on my car this morning and then brought a huge vase of roses by work this afternoon. Thanks babe for being such a truly wonderful husband,I LOVE YOU. Here's to many more years together...

Country Thunder

This weekend we headed out to Florence for a weekend of country fun:) We left Friday afternoon & stayed in our friends 5 wheel, which is huge! We were in quite the lap of luxury for the weekend. We walked around and enjoyed all the food, drinks, and bands playing throughout the day. The big headliners for the weekend were Tim McGraw who played Friday night and Alan Jackson on Saturday. My dad got us VIP tickets which were 9 rows from the stage...so that was awesome! We had such a great weekend together out in the "country!"
